Second entertainment, number 2

The big sunflower named Big Sunflower who could also walk and talk stood on its only two hind legs, leaned in closer to the most botanic plant in the plant collective and said quietly:
"I acknowledge that this is a total improvisation on my part. I'm a grown flower, and I've sat in here for too long, specifically my whole life. Let's go out and see the world, oh you're a stationary plant." - Big Sunflower

And so it was off alone, genderless as it was, out the door, out the window. The window was outside the door, it made sense in this universe.
As Big Sunflower strolled across the lawn and passed the phone booth, the phone conveniently rang and the main character of the story which is a big sunflower picked up the phone.

"HELLO!" - Big Sunflower, 2019.
"Hi, we're calling from a gameshow. We call phone booths. Please help, you're the first one to pick up the last three hours." - Gameshow host.
"Do I get to name the gameshow?" - Smiling big sunflower named Big Sunflower.
"... Yes. We've been running for two years, we need a name by now, I guess." - Gameshow host.
"Big Sunflower" - Big Sunflower.
"Sounds good to me. ASHLEY! THE GAMESHOW IS NAMED BIG SUNFLOWER NOW." - Gameshow host shouting across the TV studio with a hint of helplessness.
"Okay, and what's your name?" - Gameshow host.
"Big Sunflower" - Big Sunflower.
"Okay, it's one of these situations. Oh God, it's happening now. We're gonna make it big on live TV, the memes are gonna start rolling in now. ASHLEY! CHECK THE EMAIL- okay, we got the first big sunflower meme now, someone texted me this picture." - Gameshow host, holding their phone up to the live camera.
"Okay, can't waste time, oh no oh no. So, Mr or Mrs Big Sunflower, I can't really tell, what do you think we should do with the beetles that are invading?" - Gameshow host.
"I AM TRAPPED INSIDE A GENDERLESS BODY AND WANT TO FORNICATE" - Big Sunflower.
"Understandable, okay, let's try a different question. Do you think the beetles should be given the chance to integra-" - Gameshow host about to get interrupted by a big sunflower.
"IF THE UNIVERSE IS OBSERVABLE, WOULDN'T A SIMPLE THOUGHT EXPERIMENT ALLOW US TO EXTRAPOLATE FROM ITS STATE INTO THE FUTURE AND CREATE A TIME PARADOX TO INVALIDATE HARD DETERMINISM?" - Big Sunflower.
"... Yes, I suppose. Hold on, Ashley is calling from her husband's phone." - Gameshow host, who has Ashley's husband's phone number.
"Yes, I know this is live, Ashley. Yes, okay, then we are no longer a politically themed gameshow, how does that even work in the first place. No question mark, deliberately, jinx, no, we said it at the same time, you owe me a palapa, no, I said jinx first, you gotta respect the palapa rules. Ashley, you bastard, don't make this about you, you need to stop being your stepmother, WE'RE ON LIVE TV!" - Gameshow host, trying to keep his attention evenly divided between a big sunflower asking the big questions and Ashley having a personal crisis.
"IF YOUR CELLS REGENERATE OVER TIME, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOU IN THE FUTURE AND YOUR CLONE IN THE PRESENT, LIKE ARE WE MORE THAN JUST MEMORIES?" - Big Sunflower, asking the big questions.
"Mr or Mrs Big Sunflower, still not sure how to address your genderlessness, I have to go, Ashley parachuted off a building and a hawk made it complicated. I'll call you from Ashley's husband's phone and then-" - Gameshow host, about to get interrupted by a big sunflower a second time.
"I AM A PLANT AND I INTERRUPT YOUR SENTENCE." - Big Sunflower.
"Well, I realize you're a plant, it may just be my own predispo-"
"I INTERRUPT." - Big Sunflower, a sunflower that is big and can walk and talk, who just got out in the real world from a life in solitary collectiveness in a vast garden of stationary plants and fungus.
The camera zoomed out and saw the sun go by and the moon rise to light the sky with its vast children. As the camera panned back down to the phone booth, and the big sunflower finished the long conversation with a well-placed "I INTERRUPT. TALK TO YOU LATER!", and hung up, the story could finally move on. And maybe one day it will, for the big sunflower was hungry for more and the night was young, but for now the story had come to a halt, and just like that without even finishing the sentenc-
